Tamil Nadu deputy CM Udyanidhi Stalin said they achieved a milestone of women’s free journey around 730 Crore under the Vidiyal Payanam Scheme. The Tamil Nadu Government started an initiative in which they offer cashless travel for women in government buses. According to the deputy CM of Tamil Nadu, with the help of the scheme, they will support women with a free travel facility in government buses. This will help them save travel charges. This government also launched a monthly assistance of Rs 1000 under which they give benefits to 8 lakh students. With their breakfast scheme, 20 lakh school students benefit.
Vidiyal Payanam scheme is introduced by the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu for the women of the state. After the announcement of this scheme, this has already been implemented all over the state.
