Tamil Nadu Pasumai Veedu Thittam 2025 which is known as Chief Minister Green House Project Scheme. Under this scheme, government construct the Free Houses Quipped with the solar lights. The beneficiaries of this scheme are the poor people of the state who are living in the rural areas of the state and living below poverty. The Green House Project is constructed with the Government Financial Assistance. So this scheme is also known as Chief Minister’s Solar Green House Scheme.

CM Solar Powered Green House Scheme Tamil Nadu Details

  • All the citizen of the state who are living below poverty and living in rural areas of the state are eligible to received the Green Houses with Solar Power.
  • The house which is constructed under this scheme built in area 300 Sq Feet and having cost of Rs.2.10 Lakhs per unit.
  • Houses consist one Living room, Bedroom, Kitchen, Toilet and Porch.
  • In this Solar homes 5 Solar Power floodlights installed in every house in each Bedroom, kitchen, Living room toilet and corridor.
  • If by Chance any of the persons wants electricity connection from Tamil Nadu Electricity Board, then they can also get the same.
  • The House under this scheme will be constructed at the residence of the beneficiary or at the land owned by beneficiary or any other Part of the Village Panchayat.  

Eligibility Criteria

  • Permanent citizen of the Tamil Nadu state.
  • You must be belongs to the concerned Village Panchayat and living in Rural area of the state.
  • Family of the applicant living below poverty line.
  • Eligible beneficiaries also having land which is not less than 300 Sq Feet.
  • The title of the house must be in the name of the head of the family or in the name of any other family member of the applicant.
  • You are also don’t have any other private house with concrete roof in the same village Panchayat or any other place.
  • You are not taking any kind of benefits from any state or central government Housing  Scheme.

Pasumai Veedu Thittam Scheme 2025 Apply

All the eligible persons who wants to apply under this scheme, can visit to their District Gram Panchayat along with Documents.

Then fill the form and attached the documents and then submit it.

After the submission of the form and documents, officials forwarded the same to higher authority and then they check the eligibility and then on the basis of priority, the housing benefits will be sanctioned to the eligible beneficiaries.

Selection Process of Beneficiary

  • In Each pf the Village Panchayat a list will be prepared of the persons who are living below poverty line.
  • There are total 60,000 houses will be given in which 17,400 will be given to Adi Dravidians, 600 House to Schedule Tribes and rest of 42,000 houses will be given to other community people who are poor. 3 Percent of House also be given to physically disabled persons.
  • Under this scheme priority will be given to Handicapped persons, widow, Detsitutte, Abandoned women, female Headed Family, Family of Ex servicemen, Transgender, People suffering from HIV, AIDS or TB, or people affected by natural disaster like floor, fire accidents or family having persons mentally challenged.
  • It is also important to having the name of poor eligible persons in BPL list, if it is missing, then you can apply through Block Development Officers.
  • After all the Village Panchayat prepared the complete eligible beneficiary list and then submit the same at Gram Sabha.
  • And then selection of the beneficiary Made house allotted to them. Then after implementation of the same construction material will be given to Gram Sabha under scheme.
