Kanpur Development Authority (KDA) is planning to launch a new scheme with the name “New Kanpur City Scheme”. This is a very big project by KDA, having an estimated cost of Rs 1000 crore. Land Acquisition area for New Kanpur City Scheme
Kanpur Development Authority officers are working very hard to implement this housing scheme. Currently, the construction work on roads and other basic amenities is in process. In a recent news published in Amarujala newspaper KDA VC, Mr Madan Singh Gabryal said that the new Kanpur city housing scheme will be going to launched on this Diwali. This project is launched on the Mainawati Marg to Sihpur and from Sihpur to Kalyanpur on 153.31 acres of land.
Initially, this was planned in 1996. At that time, KDA made a blueprint of this scheme. But due to various reasons, KDA can’t develop this scheme. Now, according to KDA VC, this scheme will be implemented at the end of this year in any case. There are a total of 1793 plots available for the general public. This project will be developed with planning, and in this housing scheme, they will provide all the basic amenities. In this project, group Housing plots, schools, nursing homes, substations, shopping malls, multi-level parking, a hotel, a convention centre, green area development, as well as sewage treatment plant facilities will be provided.
