Recently on 17th September 2025, In the state of Delhi government announced the new monthly financial aid scheme of Rs.6 K which is given to the caregivers of the disabled persons. The amount of this scheme is given through the DBT method in the beneficiaries account bank which is linked with his Aadhar Card.
Scheme is announced by the Chief Minister of the scheme, in which this scheme is specially focus on the caregivers of the disabled persons. Eligible residents of the state will get this financial assistance every month, directly in their bank account.

Delhi Financial Assistance of Rs. 6K Monthly Aid Scheme For Disabled Person To Caregivers
Rekha Gupta, CM of the state announced this scheme and now officially launched in the state. All disable persons of the state, will going to received this financial monthly allowance of Rs.6,000/- per month. The amount of this scheme cover the cost of the caregiver, Therapy, Counselling, Assistive Devices or any other kind of services.
Amount & Payment Method
The Payment of this scheme of Rs.6 K is given directly to the eligible beneficiary by credited in the Bank account of the beneficiary which is linked with the Aadhar of the beneficiary.
This scheme is already approved by the Cm in the last Cabinet Meeting of the state and scheme is inaugurated by the Union Home Minister Amit Shah. The scheme is launched on the occasion of the Birthday of Prime Minister of India.

Why This Scheme Launched?
With the help of this scheme, government wants to support the financially to the family of the persons with disabilities. Eligibility Conditions For Disable Persons
Every citizen of the Delhi will be eligible for this scheme or persons who living in Delhi at least 5 years.
In this scheme, only those people apply who having at least 40 percent disability.
Applying persons also certified to required the high support from 60 to 100. AS the certificate is issued by the District Level Assessment Board.
The annual income of the family of the disable persons not more than Rs.1 Lakhs.
Verification of the Aadhar Card is also mandatory for scheme.
