There is a disability Pension scheme is Launched by the State Government of Tripura with the name of Chief Minister’s Monthly Pension scheme of Rs.5,000 for the persons with Intellectual Disability. All the eligible beneficiaries are going to received Rs.5,000/- per month. This is the new flagship welfare scheme Launched by the government. Social welfare and Social Education Department is going to manage this scheme in the state.
Tripura Chief Minister’s Scheme For Persons with Intellectual Disabilities 2025
To provide the financial aid to all the persons who having the various kinds of disabilities under this scheme. As they get the financial support of Rs.5,000 as monthly pension. In this scheme, all that beneficiaries who are having the 60% or above the disabilities like:-
Intellectual Disability.
Metal Illness.
Cerebral Palsy.
Multiple Disabilities.
We all know that Disabilities means Divyanjans, who are now going to received monthly pensions. The amount of this scheme is directly transferred in their bank account which is Aadhar Linked through DBT Systems to maintained the Transparency.
Tripura CM Disabilities Pension Scheme Application Process
All the interested candidates can submit their application form after obtaining the same from:-
Child Development project Officers of their area,
District Inspector of Social Education or
From Director Social Welfare and Social Education Department in Agartala.
Then fill this form and attached the Documents and submit in the same office.
Tripura Chief Minister’s Scheme for Persons with intellectual Disabilities Apply
First of all need to visit the above said offices, from where you all can collect the application form.
Then add the details as per the documents.
Now attached the documents with the form.
Submit the form. After receiving your application form, there must be verification done by the department.
Once the verification completed, then you all will start receiving Monthly Pension scheme.
Aim to Launch this scheme
We all know that living with the disabilities are very hard and it is more difficult to earn money for their daily needs. So now under this new scheme which is launched by the Tripura Government, they provide them social and financial security. As this financial security given to them with the monthly pension amount of Rs.5,000 per month.
Eligibility Criteria
Permanent citizens of the Tripura state who are having the multiple disabilities 60% or above are eligible for the scheme.
All the beneficiaries must be holder of Valid Unique Disability Identity Card, which is issued by the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of India.
You are also listed in the Ration card data Based of the Food Civil Supplied and Consumer Affairs Department of India.
There is no any age limit required to avail the benefits of this scheme.
If any of the beneficiaries who already obtaining the benefits from any state and central social security pension, then after verification they can be migrated in this new pension scheme.

Amount Benefits & Mode of Payment
Amount: In this scheme the amount of Rs.5,000 is given as monthly pensions to the persons with intellectual disabilities.
Payment Mode: The amount is directly credited in the Bank account of Beneficiaries linked with Aadhar of the beneficiaries through DBT System.
Other Payment Options: If the beneficiaries not operate their bank accounts self, then they can get the pension amount in the join account with their legal guardian. Legal guardian must be appointed under National Trust Acts.
