All beneficiaries who are already availing the benefits under the Vahana Mitra Scheme don’t need to apply again for this scheme. What does the By AP Vahana Mitra Scheme mean?

With the help of the Vahana Mitra Scheme, the government of Andhra Pradesh is going to provide financial support to all the drivers of the state of Rs 15,000/ every year. By getting this amount, drivers can use the same for their:-

• Vehicle Insurance amount.
• Getting a Fitness certificate.
• Road Taxes Cost and
• Services of the vehicle for maintenance.

• We all know that this is an old scheme, and many of the drivers of the state are old beneficiaries and have already received previous benefits of the scheme. So they don’t have to submit their new separate application form.
• They can check their Name in the Vahana Mitra Eligible Beneficiary List, which is already available on the Secretariat Staff with the help of the GSWS Employee Login.
• You can also complete your eKYC with the help of the GSWS Mobile App.
• The staff of the Secretariat will verify the beneficiary with the help of their supporting documents and then complete the eKYC process with one-time Password and Biometrics.

Requirement of Documents for Vahana Mitra eKYC

At the time of completing the eKYC process of the Vahana Mitra, you have to submit the following documents.

• Copy of Aadhar Card.
• RC Certificate of vehicle.
• Valid Driving License.
• Insurance certificate of vehicle.
• Bank Coy details.
• Family ration card.
• Application Form.
• Field Inspection Report.

• Download GSWS Employee App: First of all, you need to download the GSWS App, or if you already have the same, then update to the new version. The app is available in the Google Play Store.
• App Login: Now, after installing it, you need to login with the Credentials information.
• eKYC Link: Here, you will get the eKYC link available on the home page of the app.
• Auto & Maxi Cab Owner: here you will have to click on the link of Financial Assistance to Auto and Maxi Drivers, which is available in the option list.
• Get Beneficiary Details: Now, here you can search the details about the beneficiaries  with the help of:-
  • With RC Certificate.
  • Cluster.
  • Adhar Card Number.
• Click to Beneficiary: Now, here the name of the Beneficiary appeared, and you have to click on it. Here you get the result of Pending.
• Beneficiary details: Here, the complete details about the beneficiary are available, like Name, basic Details, Scheme Name, etc.
• Authenticate and Submit: Have to click on the details if correct and then click Authenticate and submit.
• Verification Method: You have to select the mode of verification with the help you want to complete the eKYC, like:-
  • Aadhar Card Linked Mobile with One-time Password.
  • Biometric.
  • Face Authentication.
  • Iris Authentication.
• Complete Status: When you complete the verification, the status will change from Pending to Complete.

NOTE: If the applicant or beneficiary is unable to visit for verification, then any of the family members can visit the ward and village secretariat with documents to complete eKYC Verification.
