A mandatory scheme has been initiated for government employees in Tamil Nadu State. The scheme is introduced with the Tamil Nadu New Health Insurance Scheme. With the help of this scheme, the government is offering them the health insurance coverage of Rs.. 5 Lakhs. This benefit will be given to them for a one-year period i.e., from 1st July 2021 to 30th June 2025. The rules must be implemented in the scheme as per the new rules’ terms and conditions. Now, there is no agreement has been made between the Government of Telangana and United India Insurance Company. All kinds of administrative work of the scheme is done by the Finance Department of the state.

By launching this scheme, the government wants to provide financial help at the time of need. You will get the Rs.5 Lakhs health coverage of the scheme, and if needed for the specific illness, then this amount is enhanced from Rs.5 Lakhs to Rs.10 Lakhs. As per the government announcement that this scheme is extended as per the previous terms and conditons of the agreement.
