The Punjab Government has launched a new study scholarship scheme for Students who belong to the Scheduled Caste. The Name of the scheme is the Foreign Scholarship Scheme, Punjab 2025. This scheme is also pronounced as “Punjab Overseas Scholarship Scheme“. All SC students who want to study abroad will going to get financial help for their studies.
Punjab Foreign Scholarship Scheme
The scheme was announced by the Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann. This is really a very good step towards educational empowerment for the scheme. Every student under this scheme will receive a tuition fee, Visa Fee, and Airfare of Rs 13.17 Lakhs per annum.
This is the new scheme to improve the education quality of the state. This scheme is going to provide the benefits to the students who belong to the Schedule Caste, and the children of Landless farmer Labourers will be allowed to avail the benefits.
All students who want to pursue their higher studies abroad and have an age under 35 with a minimum Passing marks 60% will be eligible. You can go for higher study in any of the world’s Top 500 universities. Parents’ annual income is below 8 lakhs per year.

Aim Of This Scholarship
To provide the best education options and give the opportunity to the talented youth of the Punjab, a scheme has been launched. As this scheme is a new scheme application form for 2025-26 also been invited by the government. Now no need to mortgage the property of parent for send their children abroad. So this scheme also reduced the burden on the parents to send their kids for education abroad. Apply for this scheme and avail the benefits of the scheme.

The total cost of above said annual allowance given to every student is Rs 13.17 lakhs annual.
Medical Insurance is also given to them.
Students will also receive an extra amount of Rs 1,35,000/- as emergency allowance.

What is the Punjab Overseas Scholarship Scheme for SC Students?
Foreign Scholarship Scheme, Punjab and Punjab Overseas Scholarship are the same schemes having two different known names. All the SC students with low income who want to continue their higher education in the 500 top global universities can avail the benefits of this scheme. This is really the golden opportunity for parents and students.
Application Process
The application process for this scheme can be done through online mode. For the academic session 2025-26, the application form link is open on the NOS Portal of the government. You can complete the application process till the last date, i.e. 24th October 2025.
Foreign Scholarship Scheme Punjab Apply Online
The online application form for the students is started from 15th September 2025 to 24th October 2025. Every eligible student needs to complete the process within 40 Days. Apart from it, from the Last Date, candidates can also make corrections from 26th to 29th October 2025.
Visit Portal: First of all, you need to visit the NOS Portal, i.e. nosmsje.gov.in.
Collect Details: On the portal home page of collect the complete details about the scholarship.
Choose Option: Here on the home page of the portal, if you are new, then click on Candidate Registration.
Fill Form: Have to fill the Candidates Registration Form with Basic Details.
Submit: Check the complete details and submit them.
Login: After using your email ID and password, log in to the account and then complete the further process.
Eligibility Criteria
All students of the Punjab state who are below the age of 35 years are eligible for the scheme.
You must have at least 60% marks in your Graduation Degree.
The annual Income of both parents must be less than Rs 8 lakhs per annum.
This scheme is specially announced for the students belonging to the Schedule Caste with low-income families.
Female students get 30% reservation, so that they are encouraged to pursue higher education.
If you complete the above-mentioned eligibility conditions of the government, then you can apply for the 500 top-ranked universities as curated by the state government.
